Yes Ammo, good dentals is very important for us dachshunds. I has come to live in my home as a senior dog, and the peoples who I lived with before no took care of my tooths. I had to get most of them pulled (except for the ones that felled out already), and now my jaw is becoming misshapen and still the rest of my tooths will probably need to be pulled at some point. You is doing yourself a big favor to take care of them before you gets like me!
