Footprints in the Snow

ammo the dachshund in the snow

Last night when I was at the the farm it snowed! Being the adventuresome type that I am, I went off to do some exploring while the white stuff was falling from the sky.

Spider (of course) took it upon herself to follow me on my adventure, and never one to be out-done, Spider did a little showing off. (don’t tell her but I was slightly impressed with her tight-rope walking skills)

And as if she hadn’t already showed me up enough, then she took it upon herself to write her name in the snow.

I can’t read “kitty”, but I’m pretty sure that it says “Spider Rules and Ammo Drools”.

Little did she know though, but I also know how to write my name in the snow!

And for those of you who can’t read “dog” it says, “Dear Spider, while you were out I ate all of your  kitty food and left some yellow snow on your pillow. xoxo Ammo”.

  1. Oh Ammo, mom & I are sooooo jealous, we haven’t gotten any snow yet this winter & normally by now we’ve had so much we’re ready for it to be over:)

    Have fun!!

  2. I love your glow collar. Is that so your mom and dad can see you in the dark? And by the way, you tell that kitty who’s boss! 🙂

    • Thanks I love my led collar too! It’s from http://www.glowdoggie.com. I wear it every night on the farm so that I stay safe and my mom can always see where I am (not to mention it keeps the horses from being startled by my sneakiness in the dark).
I also wear it at home when I’m out in my yard in the dark – mom likes to look out the window and see exactly what I’m up to. Bummer it totally kills my ability to dig under the fence without being noticed though!

  3. Ammo- what a great adventure!!! sometimes I wish we lived where it snowed… to give us a little bit of variety in life! 🙂
