Welcome to my Blog! My name is Ammo, and I live quite an extraordinary life for a Dachshund.

I not only take on the role of one and only dog at my home in Pennsylvania, but I also help run my mom’s business as official store greeter at her small custom frame shop in town. When I’m not busy saying hello to my adoring fans at the shop I am the  sidekick to the talented Painting Ponies at the family farm. I love to “horse around” with the ponies – sometimes performing tricks with them in their acts. My antics with the ponies even landed me on Animal Planet’s America’s Cutest Dogs.

In May of 2010 I began making one of a kind scratch art. And then in June of 2011 I became the World’s First Painting Dachshund, as I created my very first watercolor painting. My artwork has been sold all around the World and I continue to paint and perform with my Painting Pony friends. We donate a percentage of our sales each year to our favorite charities like the Main Line Animal Rescue, SPCA, and LAPS.

In October of 2010 I won the Equine Extravaganza Got Talent Contest in Virginia with my favorite pony, Chincoteague Minnow. We have gone on to perform at schools, expos, horse events and much more!
