This past Saturday was the official start of summer.

To say I’m thrilled is an understatement! I’m ready for backyard cookouts, trips to the lake, beach adventures, swimming, ice cream (the dog friendly kind), camping, and everything that comes with warm summer months.

But most of all I’m excited for summer sun bathing in my backyard!

Gone Tanning

Yes, that’s me all sprawled out in my yard. Don’t worry though, I’m not in distress….no, I’m just working on my tan!

It’s called the weenie roast – and I’m pretty much an expert at it.

Yesterday I did a whole lot of “baking”, in preparation for the big party!

Because today is my dad’s Birthday! Happy Birthday!

Here’s me playing a game of washers with my dad and his friends at the party! It was so much fun.

Now I’m off to wrap my dad’s present. I can’t wait to give it to him! Hopefully he’ll let me help unwrap, since I’m such an expert at opening presents. Yipee.
