The fruit tree in my backyard produces some pretty red apples this time of year, and I always look forward to helping mom pick them (before the bugs and birds get to them).

I just have to be careful, because there is always critters lurking, trying to steal my apples. From groundhogs, to bunnies, birds and bees…..it’s a jungle out there!

Labor Day Lounging

Tree Trimmer

Over the weekend it was “Apple Tree Trimming Time” at my house. Never being one to sit out of activities, I made sure to help Dad with the trimming.

I think it might be coming from my apple tree.

…those darn birds are laughing at me again! Now someone please give me a boost, I’ve got some chatty birds to get at!

An Apple A Day

Friday is the first day of Autumn here in the good old US of A. Which means the apple tree in my back yard is looking a lot like this lately:

Fall is my favorite time of year, not only is my Birthday in 2 weeks (October 5th to be exact), but it’s the anniversary of when I met my family. So to pre-celebrate the lovely fallness, I had a little chow down on my first apple of the season.

Summer Harvest

This is the apple tree that lives in my yard.

These are the apples that it grows for me.

This is the peach tree that lives in my yard.

These are the peaches that it grows for me.

These are my green peppers.

These are my tomatoes.

These are my cucumbers.

In my defense I was stuck behind my fence…or I WOULD have stopped him.
