Dog Toy or Baby Toy

Dog Toy or Baby Toy

Ever since Baby P showed up at my house the toy situation has gotten a little confusing. As in, how am I supposed to tell the difference between a baby toy and dog toy? That’s where you come in!

Dog Toy or Baby Toy

Can you help me decipher which one of these fine toys are dog toys and which are baby toys?

I loose sleep over this. Did I chew on Baby P’s favorite stuffed animal or did I bury the correct ball in the back yard? It’s enough to make you crazy!

Once you’ve made your guesses scroll on down to the bottom of the page to see if you got it right…..

When You’re Bored at Work

Disclaimer: this post is brought to you by Chewy.com. All opinions are my own and I received a product in exchange for my honest review. I only share products that I think you and your dogs will love.

Sometimes at work I get a little bored (as evident by the video above). Let’s be honest, I can’t run the machinery at the shop or actually frame a picture (these darn paws), and unless there is a constant flow of customers coming in the door I get a little restless without someone available to play with me 24/7.

So when my friends over at Chewy.com sent me this Outward Hound Star Spinner Toy mom thought it might be a fun distraction for me at work when she’s too busy to play.

All you need are a few yummy treats to get started. Mom used some of my kibble.

Pop them into the Star Spinner and you’re ready for business.

Mom closed it all up so that it would be more of a challenge before giving it to me.

It also has a knob on the bottom that you can use to adjust the difficulty (how easily the star spins open), and since I’m such a smarty pants I started on the hardest setting.

Since I’m pretty used to playing puzzles and games this particular toy was a bit too easy for me, but it was still fun to play with! Mom thought it would be really great for dogs who eat their meals too quickly, because this would really slow them down.

Hide n’ Seek with your Dog

Disclaimer : This is a sponsored post brought to you by Chewy.

Sometimes on rainy days or days where I have to spend a little extra time indoors mom likes to play a fun game with me.

Hide n’ Seek is quickly becoming one of my favorite games, and I’m getting quite good at it (even when blindfolded!). Keep reading to find out how you can play this game with your dog!

To start you need some yummy treats. I decided to use this package of Nature’s Variety Prairie All Natural Oven-Baked Biscuits from my friends over at Chewy.com.

These peanut butter and banana cookies contain no corn, wheat, soy, artificial preservatives, colors or flavors and are made right here in the USA!

So to get my game of Hide n’ Seek started mom asks me to sit and wait (sometimes in the same room, other times in another room so I can’t see), and then she hides my cookies all around the room.

Once their hidden she releases me to find them!

See why this game is so fun!

Friday Fetch: iFetch Ball Launcher for Dogs

I’m no labrador retriever, but I do enjoy the occasional game of fetch. So when I came across this fun new kickstarter project for the iFetch I figured I had to share it with all of you.

Designed by a Grandfather and Grandson team, the iFetch is an interactive ball launcher that automatically launches a small tennis ball between 10 and 30 feet. Some dogs can even be taught to play fetch by themselves. How cool!

I’m a fan of a lot of things – cheese, hot dogs, squeaky toys – but being a Number One Fan requires a lot more work.

Hide and Seek

Me and Cricket are playing Hide and Seek today on the farm. Will you help me find her?

ammo the dachshund hide and seek

She’s quite the crafty hider and sometimes I spend all day hunting for her around farm.

ammo the dachshund hide and seek

I thought I smelled her over by one of the ponies obstacles in the arena.

ammo the dachshund hide and seek

And I knew I heard a noise underneath the tarp.

ammo the dachshund hide and seek

But, when I peeked inside I saw nothing but darkness.

ammo the dachshund hide and seek

I was about to give up and move on to another hiding spot, when I thought I saw her little black tail poking out from under the tarp.

And just when I was about to tag her “it”, I thought I saw a groundhog out of the corner of my eye…..and she got away! That Cricket, she sure is tricky!

The Towel Game

Did you ever have a friend that always wants to make you play “their” game?

trooper and ammo

Yeah, that friend would be Trooper. He ALWAYS wants me to play the towel game.

trooper and ammo

He follows me around with that towel all day long.

trooper and ammo

Well sometimes I just don’t want to play the towel game. Sometimes….I just want to play CHASE!

Perhaps it might be because I shout the answers out. hehe.
