So I heard that during the Oscars (airing on March 2nd) they will be celebrating movie characters who save the day. You know, like Super Heroes!

But my only question is, where is my invite?

You see, I’m a Super Hero too!

Not only that, but I even starred in my very own Super Hero Movie with my pal Super Minnow the Pony!

So while I’m sure the Oscars will be an exciting event, it will never be as spectacular as it could have been if a certain pony and his canine friend were invited to partake!

The paparazzi would of swarmed me anyway, so perhaps it’s better I get to just watch from the comfort of my own couch.

You might even remember last year I got all fancied up for the occasion, but alas, I guess it’s not my time to grace the red carpet. However, I’m sure you could put in your requests on the Academy’s Facebook Page for a certain little dachshund celebrity to be in attendance for next year! Paws crossed!

The stars, the lights, the cameras, and the red carpet – The Oscars was on last night – and of course I was in attendance. Ok well sort of (from my couch at least), but that’s the very best seat in the house anyway.

Just because I didn’t get to walk the actual red carpet doesn’t mean I didn’t dress the part.

I wore the always fashionable Silly Buddy Bowtie – and even had a chance to get a little primping done.

I got my hair did!

Admittedly my hair dresser isn’t quite up on the most fashionable trends, but I rocked that mullet anyway.

The oscars provided me with a full night of entertainment as I got down with all the singing & dancing.

It’s almost as if I was actually there!

I also had my eyes peeled all night for one of my celebrity pals, Crusoe (you may remember that we both dressed up as Wile E. Coyote this past year for Halloween).

Crusoe apparently won an Oscar (meyer-weiner) for Best Celebrity Dog (hello, where was my nomination?) – but since the Academy Awards went on well past my bed time I just couldn’t stay awake to see his acceptance speech.

I’m sure he just rambled off a list of thank yous that included his squeaky toys and celebrity stylists – so I gather I probably didn’t miss much. *wink*

Even though I didn’t catch an actual glimpse of Crusoe on the red carpet, I have my own speculations as to why Kristen Stewart walked the carpet with crutches (run-in with a shorter than average celebrity??? hummmm Crusoe?). We may never know for sure!

Next year I hope to be out on the red carpet myself – and I’ve already started planning my outfit! I’m thinking a neon yellow tux would really make me jump out in the crowd!
