I’m Digging: Vol 3

With summer in full swing I thought it would be fun to share some of the things I’m currently digging to get me in the summer mood and help me beat the heat! While I don’t own any of these products currently, I’d sure love to test them out.

Dog Toy Ice Bar

How cool is this freezable ice pop! Simply fill with water, stick in the freezer, and let your pup enjoy a cool treat. I was thinking that it might work with chicken broth too for an even tastier time.

Chill Collar

This K9 Cooling Collar is designed to keep your pup cool in the heat. Simply wet with cold water and stick around your pup’s neck. It even has a handy hole so you can still attach a leash.

I’m Digging: Vol 2

Because everyone knows I’ve got the best taste out of all the dogs out there (they’re all super jelly) I’ve rounded up some of my favorite things this week.

Here’s what I’m digging this week:

Mom actually purchased this item, the GoGo Stik for me off of Amazon just before Easter. What is it? Well it’s a handy tool for my parents to use to pick up my poo! You can use any plastic bag with it (grocery bags work great) and it makes it easy for the ‘rents to pick up my mess in the back yard with one hand (while holding the baby with the other). They’ve already used it a few times now and think it’s fantastic!

Baby Placemat

Baby P just got this silicone placemat from Amazon. I like it because it’s got a cute dog shape, which is of course P’s favorite animal, and mom likes it because it suctions (really well) to her high chair which helps keep the food from falling on the floor. (don’t worry, she still throws plenty of treats my way!).

The Farmer's Dog

Several months ago I got to test out a new food called The Farmer’s Dog (which I totally forgot to tell you about until now). Not only did I dig the name, but I dug the food too. Fresh cooked food gets delivered to your door for your pet, the bulk of which you freeze for later. I scarfed up all the goodness for several weeks and while I loved the food it was a little difficult for my lifestyle since I tend to eat my food on the go a lot (and this stuff needs to stay in the fridge or freezer). But for dogs that don’t have that problem it’s a great healthy option that as a bonus requires no additional work for your humans!

*full disclosure, I did receive a free sample to test out, but I wouldn’t be telling you about it if I didn’t think it was good for your dogs too.

Suddenly I’ve realized this entire post has turned into a roundup for eating and pooping products…..which also pretty much sums up my life. 😉

I’m Digging: Vol 1

Sadly this post is not about “digging”….although I totally wouldn’t complain if it was! No it’s about what I’m currently digging, as in what I think’s cool and what I’m secretly hoping finds its way to my mailbox.

So just for fun (and because who doesn’t love online shopping) I rounded up a few of my favorite things this week:

This Dachshund Tea Towel, because there can NEVER be enough Dachshund paraphernalia in your house. You don’t even want to know how many wiener dog things are in my own home (myself included), and you know what, I’ll never get tired of it!

This Chunky Knitted Pet Bed might be designed for a cat, but you know what, I can totally curl my long bodied self into a tiny little donut to fit into this adorable bed!

Totally loving the simplistic photographs from this online shop, and the really awesome part is that they are only $6.95 for a digital download. Which means you can print them at any size you want yourself and start a collection of framed art at a great cost! You know how I love some good framed art!
