So it’s totally that time of year when Trooper and I enjoy rolling in mud and generally getting pretty dirty on the farm (and one of us really loves to go down dirty groundhog holes). So it comes at no surprise that we find ourselves in the bath A LOT.
Thanks to my new friends at MIU Pet Trooper and I now have a new tool to make bath time a bit quicker (so we can get back to all that running around on the farm!)
The MIU Pet Multi-Functional Handheld Pet Shower is a tool designed to make bathing simple again with single hand operation.
It comes with a shower head, stainless steel hose, and 4 hose adapters to fit most faucets.
The shower head has an easy to reach button on the side to control the flow of water, plastic prongs that provide gentle massage and makes your pet bathing enjoyable, and under that blue cap on the bottom is an opening that allows you to add soap to the shower head that can be released with the touch of another button.
While this pet shower is designed for indoor and outdoor use, the attachments that come with it are designed to hook to a bathroom shower head or indoor faucet, similar to the one pictured below:
Since I didn’t have the right shower or faucet at my house I decided to test out the shower in the barn wash stall. Mom had to get a little creative with the how to attach the MIU Pet hose to the barn hose – but after picking up a few hose attachments at the hardware store we were ready for a bath.
Well, technically Trooper was ready for a bath! (it’s still a bit too cold for me and my short hair to have a bath outside this time of year).
So after adding some soap to the shower head, we were ready to get Trooper all squeaky clean!
Trooper has the ideal hair type for this type of shower head, because the massaging prongs came in real handy with getting soap and water deep into his thick coat of hair.
The one-handed design of this pet shower came in real handy. With one hand free to keep Trooper from running off, the other hand could easily bathe the dog without having to put down the hose in search of soap or a brush….because it’s all right there!
All squeaky clean after his bath!
While the MIU Pet Shower can do many things, there is one thing it can’t do….keep Trooper from rubbing off his clean dog smell on the barn walls!
While Trooper loved that his bath time was cut in half, I loved that he was the one that had to test it instead of me! 😉 I’ll reserve my baths for the 80 degree weather, thank you very much.
Trooper wasn’t the only one that got to test the MIU Pet Shower though, even the horses found a use for it!

That looks bow wow awesome! I am not a huge fan of water, but I tolerate baths. I especially love when my mommy rubs in the shampoo…it’s pretty much a nice back massage! I’ll have to enter this hot diggity giveaway!
Fang hates baths, however if we put all her toys in the bath with her she will tolerate it for a total of 5 minutes or until she has saved all the toys from drowning by tossing them out of the tub.

LOL I was thinking the same thing. Trooper doesn’t exactly have the look of a self-volunteered dog…… more like the “drafted-but-didnt-want-to” face. :-p
I have a horrible time in our new home giving Shasta his bath. He is too big for the sink & the 1 bathtub is too deep (it’s a spa tub). I have resorted taking showers with him. This product could solve our problem! I’ll be purchasing one even if we don’t win. THANK YOU!
Depends, if it’s indoors she doesn’t but outdoors she loves it unless it’s winter of course. Lol
I think this would be a great help with bathing our horses. Does it come with an attachment for an outdoor hose?
It does not come with attachments for an outdoor hose. But I was able to hook it to ours by purchasing some from the hardware store.

Taking baths is not Barbarella’s favorite thing to do, but she will tolerate it.
Hiya Ammo!!! I have to honest here—I’ve never given the babies a bath. Don’t get me wrong, they get baths, at the groomer’s. I can’t kneel beside the bathtub to bathe them myself, so it’s off to the vet’s (they do grooming there too) for baths and nail trims. I’ve never gotten any bad reports, so I’m guessing they do ok there. If I won this, I have two daughters that both have dogs that could use it, for sure. One has an American Straffordshire terrier and the other has 4 dogs (a Chi-Pom, two Doxies, and a German Shepherd). So it would be put to good use, I assure you. Thanks for having the giveaway. Yes he actually does! If we do it at home, and with warm water. Otherwise, he is not a fan. He absolutely loves it if I do it in the sun, which I try to do. ?
Looks like Trooper liked his bath, that’s so great. My dog is giving me a hard time every time I bathe her. I still need to train her, that’s why I give her 1 treat every time I pour water on her. That way she knows bath=treats.

Melanie’s not a fan of baths but she stands there until it’s done. Then I wrap her up in thick, warm towels, rubbing her dry and then we curl up together for a snuggle and cuddle (and a few treats).

They actually have a longer hose length available now, but you can always attach it to another one to extend the length like I did.
My dogs all love taking a bath. When I say bath, they actually go run into the bathroom and jump in the tub while waiting for me. 🙂

No, they are not a big fan of taking a bath, we just gave both our dogs a bath last week, and the one is shedding so bad were ready to do it again.

Yoda and Bean are the first dogs I’ve had that enjoy taking a bath! Sometimes Yoda hops in the bathtub, even when we aren’t planning on giving him a bath. This feature would be helpful when I try to wash both pups at the same time!

My dog Tucker who is also a Dachshund hates baths with a passion. He hides and whines as soon as he sees me getting things ready for a bath.
Both of my dogs are not fond of baths, they do jump into or allow me to put them in the bathtub and then they shake from being scared.

I’m actually in the process of looking for a boxer, so I don’t have the dog yet. I’m gathering up all of the things I’ll need for the dog. I certainly hope s/he likes baths because I don’t like stinky dogs! =)
