There is always one sure sign that fall is just around the corner at my house….
…apples!
The fruit tree in my backyard produces some pretty red apples this time of year, and I always look forward to helping mom pick them (before the bugs and birds get to them).
Nothing says fall like the smell of delicious red apples.
Well, maybe the taste of delicious red apples!
I just have to be careful, because there is always critters lurking, trying to steal my apples. From groundhogs, to bunnies, birds and bees…..it’s a jungle out there!
Don’t worry apple, no man shall be left behind on my watch! I got yo’ back!

Our Buddy does the same thing! But, he ignores the peach tree…why is that, Ammo? Peaches need protection, too!
