Ammo the Dachshund // Printcopia // Canvas Prints of your Photos

A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by my pals at Printcopia, an online resource for getting your photos made into canvas prints and other printed materials. They offered up an 11″x14″ canvas print, so I could take their services for a whirl. Being the art-loving pooch that I am, I surely couldn’t pass up the opportunity!

But before I could order my canvas print I had to choose which photo to use – not such an easy task when your parents take hundreds of photos of you on a weekly basis.

After pouring over thousands of photos of me I finally settled on this one taken during one of our big blizzards a few years ago. Adorable isn’t it? You can ooooh and ahhhh if you like.

Then I hopped on the computer and proceeded to go through the process of ordering my canvas print from Printcopia.

After uploading my chosen photo I had the option to resize it. I also noticed you can even easily upload photos from Instagram and Facebook, which makes the process even easier!

Then I selected a border option (I chose to mirror my image) for how my photo would look on the edges of my canvas & picked a display method too. Finally it was off to checkout, with the promise that a week or so later my new print would be arriving in the mail.

When my canvas arrived I could hardly wait to put it on display in my house! I love it so much that I’m already dreaming of which of my favorite Instagram photos I’d love to get printed to hang on my wall.

And now because it’s your VERY LUCKY DAY! Printcopia has offered to giveaway an 11×14 Canvas Print to one Lucky reader! How awesome is that?

  1. “PRINT MY CANVAS” of my Haflinger horse:) Love the ideas you come up with Ammo and your print of you came out super awesome! Handsome fella!!!! Thanks for the opportunity for me to get one!!!

  2. PRINT MY CANVAS – with a picture of my two Doxies, Paisley and Montana. What a great gift this would make for their Momma Kate…! Thanks for sharing the info, Ammo. I’m glad you’re on top of things!

  3. “PRINT MY CANVAS” of my 2 fur babies – a doxie & a chiweenie. We just rescued Annie, the chiweenie, and she & Gracie, the doxie, get along so well like they have been together forever. Thanks for the opportunity. We love all things Ammo!

  4. “PRINT MY CANVAS” … You are so adorable. Love that canvas print of you! I would print a photo of my doxie, Titan. You remind me so much of him! Thanks Ammo!

  5. I would most definitely choose my doxie’s picture in her jack o’lantern. Need to have that large picture of her. You have great ideas Ammo.

  6. PRINT MY CANVAS – probably the pic of my daughter in her wedding gown with her four doxie siblings

  7. PRINT MY CANVAS of my adorable doxie/black lab – he hates posing for pictures unlike you Ammo!

  8. PRINT MY CANVAS of Devo my adorable whippet (get it, Devo, because he’s a whippet?)!
He’s very photogenic and is one of your biggest fans!

  9. PRINT MY CANVAS
I would get a picture of my doxie Jasper, because as you know, owning a doxie makes you crazy to have EVERYTHING in your house with a dachshund on it!!

    Thanks Ammo!

  10. PRINT MY CANVAS

I would have one printed of my amazing black and tan dachshund Beanie. That’s the easy part. The tough part is deciding which photo

  11. PRINT MY CANVAS

    We love you Ammo 🙂

I have an adorable 3 year old mini doxie (Ellie) that I absolutely love to pieces. We recently lost my mom to cancer and her favorite picture was of herself and Ellie. I used that picture at her memorial services. It would be amazing to be able to have that picture put on canvas as a reminder of my mom.

I need to have Ellie certified as a therapy dog like Ammo because she definitely cheers me up when I need it.

    Thank you 🙂

  12. I would absolutely love to get a photo of my family’s dearly departed Thoroughbred, Tab, printed as a canvas. After 10 years of triumph, teaching, tragedy, healing and being the ultimate friend and helping us emotionally and spiritually through so many hard times, we lost him far too soon and far too young in the summer of 2010. My mother had always wanted to get his oil portrait done, but we could never afford it. Giving her a canvas like this would be a fantastic alternative and a great holiday tribute to a horse and angel that (ironically enough) came into our lives just before Christmas 2000.

  13. PRINT MY CANVAS of a family photo of us with our fur-kids… We have a Siberian cat named Livi, a Havapoo named Prinnie, and our latest addition, a Basset/Beagle named Charlie. It’s a crazy moment to get us all in one picture – it would be amazing to have a beautiful work of art like this!

PS – I work at the animal clinic and I happened to stumble upon this blog – I had no idea our little Ammo was so famous! I mean, we all knew he was something special, but wow! What an amazing blog! Great job!!

  14. PRINT MY CANVAS! With a picture of my two dachshunds dressed as mr and mrs Claus looking at the Christmas tree on it! I’d put it on the mantel!

  15. “PRINT MY CANVAS” I would love to have a canvas of my very first dachshund Oscar in remembrance of him. I always thought I would like a dachshund even as a little girl, but I didn’t know how much I would fall in love with the breed until I got Oscar. I now have me another little sweet dachshund puppy to love and help heal the pain of losing Oscar.
I love your canvas picture Ammo! Thanks for sharing this chance to win for all your readers. 🙂

  16. Print my Canvas……if I win we will have a print done of our adorable doxies Rudy and Fritz…our most recent dachsie rescues!

  17. PRINT MY CANVAS: I have many cute photos of my Eleanor the Spoiled Doxie I would love to have printed. I love the size! Not too big!

  18. PRINT MY CANVAS! Would print one of Kona’s picture doing agility!!! 🙂 🙂 thanks for doing this giveaway! Love reading about your adventures and look forward to reading your blog everyday!

  19. PRINT MY CANVAS: I would use a pic of my baby, a red dobe age 2 digging a massive hole in the yard….Ammo, you are the best, thanks for the directions on how to use print my canvas also. You did choose a great pic of your pup days.

  20. PRINT MY CANVAS – well, I am sure you can guess who I would put on canvas…. your biggest fan MR. MONKEY!!! We’ve been wanting a big print of our doxie delight to put over our fire place 🙂 Hope all is well on the farm!!

  21. PRINT MY CANVAS – I would choose a beautiful black and white photo of my mister’s grandparents. The photo was taken right after his grandfather returned home from WW11.
