Apparently life for me and my girlfriend, Cricket the farm cat, is about to change. We have been spending a lot of time together before it’s all different.
Because on Sunday, Cricket is getting a little sister!
I’m not sure how I feel about it. I mean now I have to SHARE Cricket. Yet on the other hand it could be fun to have a little kitten buddy to play with.
Actually, yes….yes it will be fun! I can teach the Kitten how to hunt, just like Cricket taught me when I was just a pup. And we can have super cool wrestling matches (I’ll always win of course). And maybe the kitten will teach me how to climb trees, since Cricket won’t! Maybe I’ll even get to be on another episode of Animal Planet’s America’s Cutest Cats! (A clip of me and my gal Cricket will air on Animal Planet on November 13th at 9PM EST)
Oh Boy, I’m really excited now!
Except for one problem. Mom said I can be in charge of giving my new kitten friend a name….only I can’t think of anything! So I need everybody’s help! Leave me a comment if you have some ideas of what I should name my new kitten.

OOh name her Jelly! That’s the best name ever!! 🙂 Or, since they are sisters, you could name her Bugsy…or Hopper a la “grasshopper”.
We just had a naming contest for our new cat at our barn. We had a whole bunch of great suggestions, but decided on “Pebbles”. She looks like a calico. You could name her “Calico” or “Cali” for short. I like the name “Monkey” too!

Ammo – Here are a few suggestions – Cleo, Mittens, Ladybug and Sweet Pea. BTW she is a doll baby!!! Hey, maybe, Dolly!!!
I love all the name suggestions! I have more….Cinder (she is the color of cinders), Firefly, Truffles, Sophie, Misty, Belle, Tinkerbelle…I could go on and on….it is fun thinking of names for a sweet little kitty.
